Local artist, Nikki Sunday, will be presenting an interactive discussion on the importance of community art and the function of Art Hives. Right after the discussion, she will lead the participants into an art making directive utilizing hexagons. The hexagon is a metaphor for interdependence destined to be part of a whole or community. When connected, they strengthen one another by becoming one unit of connection. Anyone can participate, children and adults alike! The hexagon will be assembled in real time on a wall in the McBride Memorial Library community room. Joining us will also be the Berwick Arts Association, the local sponsor of the Art Hive.
